TECHNOLOGY SUMMARY

The technology is related to a biomimetic flow sensors with ultrahigh sensitivity and accuracy by mimicking the biological flow sensors on the bodies of the blind cave fish.The flow sensor is produced by employing MEMs technique resulted in producing ultrahigh sensitivity of the device.

Value Proposition: The existing sensor of similar size can only sense pressure but not flow velocity and it is also bigger than our in-lab fabricated sensors. Furthermore, the sensor is more expensive above $50 per sensor while the proposed sensor is estimated to be about $2
