TECHNOLOGY SUMMARY

A polymeric, multilayer, coextrusion processing technology platform has lead to the discovery and demonstration of new technologies in the field of optics, energy storage/capacitors, membrane development, and packaging. Prototype and manufacturing are in place demonstrating high performance custom optics and capacitors with twice the BOPP electrical storage capacity.

Value Proposition: Provide value-added functionality in optics and wound polymer capacitors steaming from property enhancements of multilayered polymer film technology which enhances performance (achromatic correction or energy storage) in lightweight, polymer products offering up to a 50% weight/volume reduction over existing technologies.
