Dr. Brad Guay manages the Army’s Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program. Located at the Army Research Office (ARO) in Research Triangle Park, NC, the $23M Army STTR Program annually provides federally-funded R&D opportunities to about 70 small businesses and their research institute partners to perform DoD-relevant research in such areas as human systems, information systems, biomedical, materials processes, ground/sea vehicles, sensors and electronics. Previously he managed scientists and engineers as a Branch Chief at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) and at the USACE Buffalo District, and he holds a BA in Geology from the University of Maine, and a PhD from the University of Arizona in Renewable Natural Resources.
