It relates to extracts from Persea sp. (avocado) enriched in bioactive compounds which can be used as antimicrobial, antibacterial or spore germination inhibiting agents, the extracting process, acetogenins and isolated molecules and methods for using the extracts enriched in bioactive compounds for providing antimicrobial, antibacterial or spore germination inhibiting effect.

FIGURES OF MERIT

Value Proposition: This intellectual property deals with an alternative food preservative that uses natural ingredients. The other way is the physical method, but currently that research technology is not economically feasible.
Among others, it is stable at high temperatures, reducing manufacturing costs, and wide spectrum.
