Nano-Enhanced Hydrophobic Surfaces

We applied recent advances in nanotechnology for the development of novel smooth, durable, self-cleaning, and anti-microbial surfaces for industry, military, energy, aeronautic, and medical applications. A composition of chemically active silicones and plasmon-enhanced nanoparticles results in unique properties of these surfaces while minimizing maintenance efforts, water, and chemicals needed.
