Oregon State University is among the nation’s leading research institutions in a range of fields: marine sciences, forestry, climate change, wave energy, sustainable food systems, nuclear engineering and public health. Receiving $263 million in research funding in FY13, Oregon State earns more than 60 percent of the research funding in the Oregon University System. The university’s private sector financing reached $36 million in FY13, a 65-percent increase in the past five years.
