Dr. James H. Wang is a Research Technical Leader of Kimberly-Clark Corporation. He is an technology innovator and inventor having more than 250 granted patents worldwide including 98 granted U.S. patents. He delivered more than 60 presentations at international conferences and seminars at universities and published more than 30 refereed articles. He twice served on USDA’s National Research Initiative on Biobased Products Review Panel. He is the Chairman of American Chemical Society (ACS) Northeast Wisconsin Section. In 2013, he was elected Fellow of Polymeric Materials: Science and Engineering Division of ACS. He received his Ph.D. in Macromolecular Science from Case Western Reserve University (USA) in 1991. His expertise includes biodegradable polymers, bio-based polymers, reactive extrusion, polymer processing modifications, micro-and nano-structured polymers, and sustainable packaging materials. He has received numerous awards and his research has led to successful commercialization of specialty polymer products at Chevron and sustainable products at Kimberly-Clark.
