Dr. Sandi Miller is a chemical engineer in the Polymers Branch at NASA Glenn Research Center. She has specialized in the development and characterization of nanocomposite materials and has been involved with numerous research efforts incorporating nanomaterials into aerospace polymer systems. Her work has lead to polymeric materials with improved mechanical properties and gas barrier performance; as well as systems demonstrating enhanced durability in a high temperature environment. More recently she has focused on composite processing and properties.
