Summary:

We demonstrate the capabilities of a new instrument to produce well defined complex alloy nanoparticles through magnetron sputtering and gas aggregation and then deposit them onto carbon surfaces through ion soft landing. We focus on materials that are relevant to oxygen reduction catalysis.
