Abstract: This invention is a highly-sensitive and miniaturized sensor-biochip capable of detecting a single-melanoma cancer cell in circulating blood samples. It can have widespread pre-clinical/clinical application in detecting cancer metastasis and performing cancer prognosis. It is able to differentiate cancer cells from other cells present in blood in a label-free manner.
