Susan Sprake is a Business Development Executive for Los Alamos National Laboratory\'s (LANL) Technology Transfer Division. Throughout her career she has worked with companies of all sizes in a variety of scenarios to build short- and long-term strategic relationships domestically and abroad. With over 25 years of experience in technology transfer, she continues to be responsible for providing awareness and advice to LANL on policy and legislation affecting technology transfer activities. She currently serves as the Senior Contracts Advisor in LANL’s Technology Transfer Division. During her career, Ms. Sprake has had a strong interest in legislation and policy development regarding technology transfer at the federal laboratories, and has repeatedly assisted with legislative draft reviews as a subject-matter expert. Before joining LANL in 1997, she was on the technology transfer team at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and was co-founder of the DOE Technology Partnership Working Group (TPWG), which via legislation became the Technology Transfer Working Group. Ms. Sprake received a law degree from the University of California, Hasting College of the Law in San Francisco, and a B.A. from the University of Maryland. Ms. Sprake is a long time supporter and participant in the Federal Laboratory Consortium (FLC). She is currently serving as FLC\'s Mid-Continent Regional Coordinator, and previously having served as the FLC Vice Chair.
