Justin M. Gorham is a research chemist in the Materials Measurement Science Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Justin received his PhD in chemistry from Johns Hopkins University under the supervision of Dr. D. Howard Fairbrother where his research focused on using surface analytical techniques to modify, grow and purify carbonaceous and metallic thin films/deposits. Currently, Dr. Gorham\'s research is focused on the effect UV radiation has on the physicochemical properties of carbon and silver nanoparticles as well as the impact these modifications will have on their environmental behavior.
