As the Nancy Panoz Chair of Surgery in Cancer Research, Dr. Lily Yang leads the basic science research efforts of the Division of Surgical Oncology and is one of the most well-funded researchers in the Department of Surgery. Specializing in the development of novel approaches for detection and treatment of cancer, her current research includes novel approaches for cancer treatment and detection and developing multifunctional and tumor targeted nanoparticles for non-invasive tumor imaging.
