Paul A. Webley

Paul A. Webley

Professor, Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering

Melbourne School of Engineering

Australia

Professor Webley completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering at MIT in 1990 and was Director of the MIT School of Chemical Engineering Practice at the Dow Chemical Company in Midland, MI. He has worked for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (APCI) and as a senior research engineer specialising in adsorption technology, before joining Monash University as a senior lecturer. While at Monash, Professor Webley founded the Adsorption Engineering Laboratory. He joined Melbourne School of Engineering’s Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in January 2012.

Key research interests are in adsorption science and engineering spanning nano-adsorbent synthesis, characterisation and testing, through to adsorption process design and implementation.

Speaking in the Carbon Capture symposium.
