Gregory M. Lanza, MD, Ph.D founded Kereos, Inc. in 1999 and serves as its Chief Scientific Officer. Dr. Lanza served as Research Manager of Monsanto Company, St. Louis where he directed pre-clinical development of bovine somatotropin (Posilac). He serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine and Biomedical Engineering of Washingtion University, and is on the Barnes-Jewish Hospital staff. He served as Director of Kereos, Inc. since 1999. Among various other honors, he has received multiple National Cancer Institute's Unconventional Innovation Program Awards. His research has focused on site-targeted therapeutics and contrast agents for both cancer and cardiovascular diease, and he is the author of over 80 publications. Dr. Lanza holds an M.D. degree from Northwestern University, a Ph.D and MS in Genetics from the University of Georgia, and a BA in Biology from Colby College.
