Dr. Audrey Moores is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry at McGill University, Montréal, Canada and a Canada Research Chair in Green Chemistry since 2007. She studies how nanoparticles of various metals can be used as effective and recyclable catalysts. She works more specifically with ionic liquid stabilized nanoparticles, magnetic nanoparticles and crystalline cellulose supported nanoparticles in the context of catalytic reactions of hydrogenation, coupling and oxidation. She obtained her PhD under the supervision of Prof. Pascal Le Floch in 2005 from the Ecole Polytechnique, France. She was a post doctoral fellow at Yale University in 2006 in the group of Prof. Robert H. Crabtree.
