Surface engineering to build up superhydrophobic substrate

The control of wettabity is a major challenge in many applications from painting to biomaterials. From recent studies, the aim of this presentation is to give some chemical pathways in order to reach not only superhydrophobic but also superOLEOphobic surfaces. In this last case the correlation between liquid surface tension and contact angle values will be described. In order to reach these propertiesan other way from biomimetic approach will be used.
