Fraunhofer's German High Tech Champions campaign provides an international forum for German applied research by turning the spotlight on a few outstanding technology developers, each presenting a tailor-made business case.

Fraunhofer invites industry leaders to witness the announcement and presentation of the German High Tech Champions in the Solar/PV field on Wednesday, June 15 at 2pm, as well as during the Innovation Showcase later that afternoon. The event will be an excellent opportunity to receive first hand information and get in contact with Germany's most promising research groups. Winners of the nationwide GHTC competition are awarded the title "German High Tech Champion" and will be honored at the event.

Aiming at exchanging information between scientists and industry as well as identifying R&D needs, the German High Tech Champions will present actual business cases. Fraunhofer makes sure that these presentations are strictly application oriented rather than academic ideas.
