Anmol Madan is a recent PhD from the MIT Media Lab, and founder of ginger.io, a mobile platform to model individual and aggregate health patterns. His research interests are in modeling human behavior using large-scale sensor data, and applied machine learning and data mining. His work has been featured in academic publications like Ubicomp, Pervasive, ISWC, ICMI, and popular press/media including CNN, BBC, New York Times, Wired, BusinessWeek, the Colbert Report and Slashdot. He is also the recipient of various honors, including from the MIT 100k competition and the DARPA Red Balloon challenge.
