Clinton Bybee is a Co-founder and Managing Director of ARCH Venture Partners. He has helped organize, finance, and build numerous companies out of university and national laboratory research including MicroOptical Devices (founded out of Sandia National Laboratories), Cambrios Technologies, Innovalight (both founded out of UT Austin), Siluria Technologies (MIT), Semprius (U. Illinois), Nanosys (Harvard, UC Berkeley), Cooledge Lighting, Xtera Communications (U. Michigan), Impinj (U. Washington), and others. He leads ARCH’s initiative with the Department of Energy at Sandia National Laboratories and ARCH’s LabStart initiative at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He is a board member of numerous private companies, is a founding board member of the Texas Venture Capital Association and currently serves as its first President. Mr. Bybee holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. p>
