Summary:

The hollow polyhedral MnOx can be synthesized successfully. The results of catalytic activity for toluene oxidation show that hollow polyhedral MnOx are more excellent than the solid one, resulting from the outer and inner surface both existing in the hollow structure. These results allow us to understand and design the morphology of metal oxide catalytic materials.
