Summary:

Lockheed Martin has combined scalable CMOS technology with existing CNT-based device fabrication capabilities to develop a scalable, tailorable, low cost integrated sensor platform for multi-analyte detection. <50 ppb detection has been shown with initial responses possible of <1 second. Target discrimination has been achieved through surface functionalization, sensor geometry, operating conditions and data processing algorithms. TRL 5 has been demonstrated, and a wireless demonstration unit developed for partners in the medical device field. The sensor has been aimed primarily towards markets in human spaceflight, but Lockheed Martin is seeking potential partners towards other markets such biometrics and industrial monitoring.
