Summary:

While synthesis of metal oxide nanoparticles are well known, low-cost production of colloidally stable materials is rather rare. In this paper we present a methodolgy for producing large volumes of colloidally stable metal oxide nanoparticles at very low cost. This opens up many commercial applications, such as liquid fuel combustion catalysts to aid in stretching our fossil fuel resources. We also present characterization of the metal oxide nanoparticles produced by our process.
