Chad Vecitis

Chad Vecitis received a BA degree in chemistry in 2001 from Johns Hopkins University and a PhD degree in environmental physical chemistry from the California Institute of Technology in 2009. In 2008, he was awarded a post-doctoral training fellowship from the Yale Institute of Biospheric Sciences where he studied the environmental implications and applications of nanotechnology. Chad is currently an Assistant Professor of Environmental Engineering at Harvard University where his research focuses on environmental technology. Dr. Vecitis has published more than 20 peer-reviewed professional papers and is the holder of 2 patents in the subject areas of applied chemical kinetics, aquatic chemistry, atmospheric chemistry, electrochemistry, catalytic oxidation, photochemistry, and sonochemistry.
