Todd Otanicar received his PhD from Arizona State University in Mechanical Engineering after a short career with GE Aircraft Engines. He is currently an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at Loyola Marymount University. While at ASU he had the opportunity to participate in NSF EAPSI fellowship program in Australia studying at University of New South Wales. His research focuses on the intersection of thermal transport and energy systems, particularly the use of nanofluids in solar energy. His work has appeared in the Journal of Solar Energy, Journal of Applied Physics, and the Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy.
