Michael Debije received his PhD from the University of Rochester in Biophysics in 2000. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Functional Materials and Devices group in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry at the Eindhoven University of Technology in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. His current work involves improving the performance of an alternative generator of electricity from solar light: the luminescent solar concentrator.
