Abstract:

This work concerns nanofabrication via anodic oxidation of aluminum with the intent of forming tailored pore sizes and/or geometries by varying the experimental conditions such as applied voltage and electrolyte. Extending the well known method of two-step anodization for the formation of uniform porous anodic alumina (PAA) templates the effects of variable conditions is refined and reported on.
