Special Symposium
Consistent with the scientific origins of the conference, this symposium provides a forum to present the societal, health, and environmental benefits and safety concerns presented by nanotechnology, and to discuss regulatory, health and policy issues surrounding the rapid development and commercialization of these technologies. Presentations will include technical and commercial breakthroughs along with addressing societal issues by industry, government and environmental organizations. There will be a special session dedicated to good workplace safety practices for handling nanomaterials and a special session on emerging legal and regulatory issues.
