This paper describes the new developments in the study of the deposition profiles of ZnO nanoparticles fabricated by Sigma Aldrich (10% weight) in suspension in ethylene glycol (EG) solution and a mixture of 2.5% w/w and 5% w/w diethylene glycol (DEG), at three temperatures: 65°C, 105°C and 110°C.Better profiles were obtained by the addition of 2.5%DEG.Fig. 5, a first result shows a 40% improvement on relative sensitivity of gas sensor for CH4 with a better homogeneity of the ZnO layer with ink containing 2.5% DEG
