Thomas L. “Tom” Moore is the first Director of the Defense Systems Information Analysis Center (DSIAC), which was established on 1 January 2014 as the result of the consolidation of six legacy IACs. Mr. Moore is a 30-year veteran of the defense industry, having served in various engineering and program management functions in both the DoD IAC enterprise and contractor sector. Prior to his current position, Mr. Moore was employed at Alliant Techsystems (ATK) where he held senior program management and engineering positions in advanced tactical missile propulsion technology development and demonstration programs.

From 1994 to 2007, Mr. Moore served in various senior engineering and management positions at the Chemical Propulsion Information Analysis Center (CPIAC), where he last held the position of Deputy Director. From 1984 to 1993, Mr. Moore worked at the former Hercules Aerospace Company (now part of ATK) where he was assigned to various tactical missile propulsion and gas generator development and production programs.

Mr. Moore received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University and an M.S. in Technical Management from The Johns Hopkins University. He is an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®).
