Yan Wang received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 1988 and 1991, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in semiconductor device and physics from the Chinese Academy of Science, Beijing, China, in 1995. Since 1999, she has been an accociate Professor with the Institute of Microelectronics at Tsinghua University (IMETU), Beijing, and promoted to full professor in 2004. Since 2003, She has been the vice director of the IMETU and engaging in the student management and teaching management, Her current research interests include modeling of RF/MicroWave/MMWave devices and components, the carrier transport models in scaled-down MOS devices, CAD software development for micro- and nano-devices. She gives the course Nano-electronic Devices to the graduate students and the Solid State Physics to the undergraduate students.
