Power electronics, the application of solid-state electronics for the control and conversion of electric power, is an area of tremendous potential for cleantechnology development. New materials and devices can provide significant energy savings in devices ranging from mobile phones and battery chargers to high-voltage, direct current power transmission systems. This special symposium focuses on advanced and emerging technologies across the full range of power electronics applications with emphasis on revolutionary and commercially viable research and development efforts, innovative materials and devices.
Published since 1969, Microelectronics Journal is an international forum for the dissemination of research into, and applications of, microelectronics.
