Technologies supported by inkjet printing are increasing. Smaller droplets and functional fluids are important drivers of this growth. The Nanotech2012/Microtech2012 Inkjet Symposium has a Call for Papers for a broad spectrum design-to-application event so that scientists can report their findings in this technology growth area. This symposium is targeted towards enhancing the basic understanding of the functional principles of inkjet with respect to research, design and manufacturing. We are looking for papers that describe both the challenges and successes associated with ink jet printhead development and the challenges and successes with functional printing applications. More specifically, applications within the fields of printed electronics, the nanosciences and the biosciences will be covered.
Specific attention will be paid to the physical chemistry of the inkjet process:
These subjects form the backdrop for discussing how fluid formulators manipulate the chemistry or physics of fluids to get droplet formation, adhesion to the substrate and behavior of the fluid droplets at the substrate surface. The ability to make a functional device due to the success of these parameters will also be discussed.
Authors are invited to submit papers that address theoretical, analytical, experimental and practical treatments of the topics below.
Selected Nanotech Proceedings papers will be reviewed and invited into a Special Issue of the Journal of Experimental Nanoscience. The journal provides a showcase for advances in the experimental sciences underlying nanotechnology and nanomaterials.
For consideration into this Special Issue of the Journal of Experimental Nanoscience, please select the “Submit to Journal of Experimental Nanoscience” button during the on-line submission procedure.
Selected Nanotech Proceedings papers will be reviewed and invited into a Special Issue of Journal of Nanoparticle Research. The journal disseminates knowledge of the physical, chemical and biological phenomena and processes in nanoscale structures.
For consideration into this Special Issue of Journal of Nanoparticle Research, please select the “Submit to Journal of Nanoparticle Research” button during the on-line submission procedure.
Selected proceedings papers in the Electronics and Microsystems Track (MEMS & NEMS, Sensors & Systems, Micro & Nano Fluidics symposia, and MSM conference) will be reviewed and invited into a Special Issue of the on-line journal ‘Sensors & Transducers’.
For consideration into this Special Issue of the on-line journal ‘Sensors & Transducers’, please select the “Submit to Sensors & Transducers” button during the on-line submission procedure.
