Jeff Brunings is the Director of Strategic Marketing at Altairnano, Inc. A nearly 20 year marketing and sales veteran, Brunings has been an integral part of developing Altairnano’s strategic sales, marketing, and communications programs. Since joining Altairnano in October of 2008, he has led, conceptualized and developed a comprehensive strategic marketing plan for the organization and has built a team to move the plan forward. Throughout the course of his career, Brunings has held positions with increasing responsibility, including Nortel, MarchFirst, and Miller Heiman. Most significantly, he has created and executed co-marketing programs for marquis clients including Harley-Davidson, Williams-Sonoma, Epic Records, Jenny Craig, and Ocean Spray. A master at marketing and sales strategy development, particularly from the ground up, Brunings has led strategic marketing efforts and/or sales teams with Amerivon and Miller Heiman, Inc. While with Amerivon, a consultancy helping companies to effectively plan, prepare, and execute mass market retail channel strategies and raise capital, Brunings led marketing strategy and development efforts for the organization; achieving a 164% increase in year-over-year gross revenues. As Marketing Director for Miller Heiman, he managed all aspects of the organizations’ sales development efforts, recognizing a 180% increase in qualified lead development for inside and outside sales channels. Brunings received his Bachelor of Science from the California Polytechnic State University with a major in Journalism. He resides in Truckee, CA with his wife Karen and two beautiful daughters, where they all take full advantage of the outdoor lifestyle, skiing in winter and rock climbing in summer.
