An overview of an integrated multi-scale modeling and experimentation approach for flow and transport in porous media with applications in oil and gas recovery will be described. Laboratory capabilities at Macro, Micro, and Nano scales, and how they are integrated to serve the above approach, will be presented. Modeling methods employed at different scales and the techniques used for physically-based up-scaling, taking advantage of high performance computing and data visualization, will be discussed.
