The DOE Office of Electricity’s – Energy Storage program at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is focused on the development of cost effective energy storage technologies to meet future energy needs. Two of the most promising electrochemical storage technologies being developed for stationary applications, redox flow and Na-metal batteries, will be highlighted in this talk.
