Jinyao Tang, PhD. is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and University of California, Berkeley. He received his BS degree from University of Science and Technology of China in 2003. Then he received his PhD in Physical Chemistry from Columbia University at 2008 working on develop nano-platform for molecular electrics and DNA sequencing application. After finishing up his PhD, he started his postdoctoral research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and University of California, Berkeley in Professor Peidong Yang’s group, where his research is focused on nanomaterial and processing for renewable energy including designing high efficiency thermoelectric material and high efficiency nanowire solar cells.
