Special Symposium
This symposium focuses on innovative approaches to meet the aims of the 12 principles of green chemistry established by Paul Anastas and John Warner in the late 1990's. Topics will include environmentally benign approaches to manufacturing products, creating chemical reactions, and treating chemical waste. The event also encompasses novel green materials development: materials that are not only green to produce (from sustainable feedstocks, using green manufacturing principles), but are green throughout their lifecyle and designed for innocuous degradation at the end of their function.
This symposium is a jointly hosted by the Cleantech2011 and Nanotech2011 conferences.
