Synopsis
Green chemistry is the design of chemical products and processes that reduce or eliminate the use and generation of hazardous substances. With its mission to help build the technical dimension of a sustainable civilization, green chemistry is a fertile field for sustainability motivated investment. While we are perhaps thousands of yet to be invented safer technologies away from a sustainable technology base, green chemists have mapped out and are pursuing a dynamic strategic plan for getting there. Safer products and processes developed around the principles of green chemistry already illustrate the potential for weaving hazardous substance reduction goals into the fabric of a sustainable economy. Join green chemistry leaders and practitioners to learn about the aspirations and advances.
