Julie is responsible for the development and program management of SDG&E’s energy efficiency local government partnership program with a focus on energy efficiency, conservation and sustainability issues. Prior to the partnership program, Julie worked in the Energy Efficiency New Construction and Sustainable Communities Program where she worked with building owners, design team professionals, and city officials to influence design and planning of new construction. Julie has served on various committees’ addressing climate change including the Chula Vista Climate Mitigation working group and the planning committee for the Summit for Municipal Leaders on Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, “Understanding AB 32: Intent and Impact.” She has also served on San Diego’s Centre City Development Corporation Lighting Advisory Committee for the downtown master lighting plan. She recently spoke at the Annual Municipal Green Building Conference and Expo on the energy efficiency roadmap program with the Port of San Diego. Julie holds a bachelor of arts in Economics from the University of Georgia and a MBA from San Diego State University. She is also a LEED AP.
