Special Symposium
Nanotechnology is moving quickly into clinical research and treatment. A wide range nanoparticle or nanostructure based therapies or imaging devices are currently in clinical trials, are awaiting clinical trials, or have already been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Several nanotechnology treatments for cancer have already been approved or are currently being tested on human subjects.
The passage of nanomaterial based therapies and devices through clinical trial can pose particular challenges. This special event will feature a number of presentations highlighting the challenges, case studies and the tools for success in this area. Keynote presentations will be followed by a panel discussion.
