Kevin Sill, Ph.D. a co-founder of Intezyne, is a synthetic polymer chemist and serves as the Chief Science Officer of Intezyne Technologies. Prior to Intezyne, Dr. Sill gained research experience in industrial and government labs including Nalco Chemical and the USDA. His undergraduate research focused on the synthesis of hyperbranched and liquid crystalline polymers at the University of Illinois. Doctoral studies involved the synthesis of novel ligands for preparation of nanoparticle-polymer materials. Dr. Sill completed his M.S. and Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering at the University of Massachusetts and holds a B.S. degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois. He has authored or coauthored 10 peer-reviewed publications and is a co-inventor on 16 issued issued patents and 18 additional patent applications. Dr. Sill serves as a reviewer for the Journal of the American Chemical Society. In November of 2009, Dr. Sill was named \"Young Innovator of the Year\" by R&D Magazine.
